Need a little boost? These sweet, nutty bites are good for a quick pick-me-up before a workout or to get you through the end of the day. 

PINEAPPLE MACADAMIA NUT ENERGY BALLS

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups rolled oats
  • 2 Tbsp. hemp seeds
  • 1/4 cup chopped roasted macadamia nuts
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped dried pineapple
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions
Place ingredients in the bowl of a food processor in the order listed. Pulse just until combined. If desired, refrigerate 30 minutes for easier handling. Form into 1-inch balls. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Makes 1 dozen.
