More than 110,000 people in Hawaii have diabetes, which can lead to heart and kidney disease, blindness, and other chronic conditions. In this workshop, you’ll learn the basic facts, risk factors, and possible complications related to diabetes. We’ll also discuss lifestyle behaviors that can help improve blood glucose levels. Activities include a diabetes true/false quiz and diabetes risk test.
