More than 45,000 adults in Hawaii have been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma, bronchiectasis, and nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) disease. The 20th Annual COPD Education Day: 20 Years of Better Breathing will feature presentations from medical experts and patients on COPD treatments, exercise, travel, respiratory health, and how to find reliable medical information. The event also includes exhibits, demonstrations, handouts, prizes, and a light lunch. Attendees can participate in person or via Zoom. Validated parking is available.
