Men Walk the Talk and March Against Violence

Hundreds of community members gathered in support of non-violence at the 21st Annual Men’s March Against Violence Thursday, October 8. The march began at the State Capitol and ended at Skygate Park at Honolulu Hale. 

This year’s theme was “Walk the Talk,” encouraging the community to stand up and stop domestic violence!  While men were asked to march, the entire community was welcome to march alongside them to support the cause.

Many of the participating organizations icluded: Catholic Charities Hawaii, City & County of Honolulu, Domestic Violence Action Center, Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Kapiolani Community College, PACT, and PHOCUSED.
